PE-HD 100M

Key information PE100M granules

  • Average MFR/melt flow: 0.3 g/10min
  • Average density: 0.952 g/cm3

The granulate is very well suited for extrusion.

The PE-HD 100M granulate is made from floating collars, the floating plastic ring that most of us associate with Norwegian fish farms. The floating collar holds up the net, provides attachment for equipment, supports walkways and railings, and is well moored so that the cage is positioned correctly in waves and weather.

The floating collar is a key factor in large-scale Norwegian food production: Last year, the Norwegian aquaculture industry produced enough fish to serve over 9 billion meals – as many as there are people on the planet.

In many ways, we can say that the floating collar carries many jobs and great values on the Norwegian coast: Including ripple effects, aquaculture has exceeded 100 billion kroner in annual value creation, and around 70,000 Norwegians derive their income in and from aquaculture.

We are proud that new floating collars and other important plastic products are now being made with our recycled PE-HD 100M granules.
