Sorting guide for plastic from aquaculture and fisheries

Below you will find information about the types of plastic we accept, a general guide to how to best prepare discarded equipment for recycling – and information about how we treat the equipment. Plastic we accept

  • Breeding cages
  • Feed hoses
  • Ropes and other fiber plastics

How to prepare the plastic

  • Remove metal and foreign materials where possible 
  • Collect plastic by type (cage, pipe and rope separately) 
  • Place the equipment in a suitable location on land. Cages and feeding hoses are collected directly from the sea and prepared by agreement.
  • Avoid unnecessary pollution
