Our PE-HD 100F granules are made from used feed hoses from the Norwegian aquaculture industry. The plastic pipes transport feed to the fish in the cages, to the right cage, at the right time and in the right amount. This provides good feed utilization in one of the world's most sustainable food productions.

In a year, Norwegian aquaculture produces enough fish to feed every person on the planet. Around 70,000 Norwegians earn their wages in or from the aquaculture industry, which, including spin-offs, has exceeded NOK 100 billion in value creation.

Without the feed hoses, this would not have happened. We are proud that new feed hoses and other important plastic products can now be made with our recycled PE-HD 100F granulate.

See the product lifecycle

The feeding hoses transport food to the farmed salmon, to the right cage, at the right time and in the right quantity.
Used feed hoses from Norwegian fish farms are taken to our facility in Nærøysund, where they are cleaned and recycled.
Our granules produced from recycled feeding tubes are used in a number of new plastic products, which are thus more sustainable than if they were produced from virgin plastic alone.
